After working for marketing agencies in the Pacific Northwest, Owen Garitty became disillusioned with the standard operating procedure for agencies. He found that long meetings, creative restrictions, and big egos got in the way of helping clients develop impactful communication strategies and tactics. That’s why, in 2013, Garitty founded FPW Media. Labeled as the “un-agency” FPW was founded to dismantle the traditional nature of a marketing agency and embrace a client-first approach. Garitty wanted to create an organization that helped clients achieve their visions through unconventional but effective processes and communications.
FPW was created to forge a path for innovative, fresh, and transformative creativity in the marketing industry. By approaching client projects with an open mind, and valuing client goals first and foremost, FPW leaves no room for ego-driven concepts. Each FPW project is focused solely on helping clients achieve their communication and business goals.
